About Tinkertaylor
Sharon and Chris — the people behind Tinkertaylor
We are Sharon and Chris Taylor of Tinkertaylor Siamese. Based in Lancashire at the heart of the Pennines, located on the edge of Burnley overlooking the open countryside. We have been breeding Siamese and Oriental cats since 2008 and obtaining our GCCF prefix in 2012. Our cats are born and raised with our love and care in our home. They are well socialised and used to all the usual household activities. We take our time to select the best breeding girls and boys so that all our babies are the happiest healthiest babies possible. Girls live in our home and live their best lives as pampered fur babies whilst boys live in our purpose built stud quarters. Each boy having his own insulated and heated accommodation with 24 hours CCTV to ensure they are happy and healthy.
Our values
Built on health, temperament and care
Three principles run through everything we do at Tinkertaylor.
Health-tested parents
Every queen and stud is screened for the conditions known in the breeds. We share test results openly so you know exactly what your kitten comes from.
Raised underfoot
Litters grow up in the heart of our home, surrounded by everyday family life. Kittens leave us confident, sociable, and ready to settle quickly.
Show-quality type
We breed for the elegant lines and temperament the Siamese and Oriental are loved for, and take part in GCCF shows to keep our lines honest.
Lifetime support
Buying a kitten from us isn’t the end of the conversation. We stay in touch with every family — for advice, photos, or just a catch-up.
How we breed
Careful breeding, calm beginnings
Every litter is planned months in advance, with each pairing chosen for health, temperament and type.
1
Plan the pairing
We choose each pairing carefully, lining up health-tested queens and studs whose lines complement one another.
2
Welcome the litter
Kittens are born and raised in our living room, handled gently from day one and watched closely by us and the vet.
